How To Use Fodder in Seven Knights ? This Is Guide New Update for FODDER GUIDE

I'll try my best to update the guides as we get more content in the game. I am a f2p player so the info below will be based on f2p experience neither am I a KR player so I cannot give advice with insight based on their current patch. That said, this is based on personal experience including some input I got from the community and I am writing what has worked well for me and where I think could've done better, from a release-date-newbie, to a been-playing-since-day-1 perspective. Let me know where I can do better and if the guide needs to be updated.
FODDER UNITS

"Early game" when you're just starting off

As a F2P player, here's what I think is the best way to spend units in their respective ranks:

use 1 star units to power up 3/4/5 star units.
use 2 star units to power up 5/6 star units.
use 3 star units to fuse for 4 star units.
use 4 star units to fuse for 5 star units.
use 5 star units to fuse for 6 star units or rank up if it's a desirable unit.
use 6 star units to use if it's desirable or fodder for trans/unlock.

Q: Why should we use 1/2* units as fodder when it's cheaper and faster to fuse higher ranked units?
A: 1/2* units are a lot easier to acquire than 3/4/5 units.

using 5x 4* units to power-up a 6* unit only gives you 125% on the exp bar, while
using 5x 2* units to power-up a 6* unit gives 35% for the same price.
One would get more 2* units while grinding during hot time than 4* units. Sure, it would cost about 3.5x as much (about 160k for 125%) but in the long term, it lets you use the 3/4/5 star units for other units to play with.
Do note that this is more of an insight to long-term early grinding in the game. If you intend to climb up the ladders ASAP without regards to efficiency, then do NOT follow this guideline and go straight to +5ing your main units as it may be ideal early in the game where the power climb gets real.

You may also sell your lv 30 fodder units (preferably the 1 star ones) if you find yourself low on gold.
Lv 1 sells for 200G while Lv 30 sells for 1650G. Do your ruby farming shenanigans then sell 'em!

"Early-Mid-game" where pretty much everyone is currently at, "End-game" being the current Korean patch, maxed masteries, etc etc.

Eventually, you'll find yourself in a guild with higher level skills, maybe even have your own monthly May's box buff if you choose to "donate" $5 monthly to netmarble. By then, you'll be aware of how potent hero find rate ups are and notice that you're getting less 1-stars, MORE 2-stars, and 3-stars appear much more frequently. Players should gain their sentience at this point and probably don't even need to refer to this guide but if you still feel the need to..

Here's where I find myself using my fodder units on:

use 1 star units to power up 2/3/4 star elementals.
use 2 star units to power up 3/4/5/6 star units.
use 3 star units to fuse for 4 star units or power up 3/4/5/6 star units.
use 4 star units to fuse for 5 star units.
use 5 star units to fuse for 6 star units or rank up if it's a desirable unit.
use 6 star units to use if it's desirable or fodder for trans/unlock.

FUSING and using ELEMENTS

Fusing may be the best way to get your main party going as you're starting out.
If you follow and finish the guide quest, you'll end up with around 2-3 6* units
with some 5* to consider for fusion. This is where your RNG luck gets tested.

For the long term Early on, FUSE THE 3/4/5 UNITS YOU ACQUIRE IN THE GAME.
You won't get them as often once you clear Tower or choose not to pull them from gacha.
Eventually, they will become 6 star units that you'll either want in your party or as transcend/item unlock fodder.

If you come across a unit that you like as a 5 star, it may be worth spending elements on them. You should use elements sparingly as they're rather hard to come by early in the game.
It costs 400 rubies to grind easy Dailies 8 times to produce a 5 star element and 600 rubies to grind medium Dailies 4 times to produce the same thing. You can also use your CR points to acquire random 3 star elements every 4 days or one specific 3 star element every 8 days. Personally, I pick the random ones to fuse since it feels that you'd get more bang for your buck that way.
Ideally, elements should only be used for ranking up units from 5 stars to 6 stars(unless it's a 7k unit).
You'd be wasting about 2 weeks worth of daily dungeons if you decide to use a 4 star element to rank up a 4 star unit.. so put that into consideration when playing as F2P.
** This perspective will change once you hit "mid-game". **

There will be a point in the game where you'll find yourself with more elements than you'd normally use. You'll find that your units are sucking in Arena and your CR score isn't as great as your fellow guildies. By then, you should've already maxed your masteries(if you haven't yet, do it NOW) and a handful of rubies and nowhere productive to use them. What do you do with this surplus of rubies and elements?

Simple. You transcend your units. After investing a small fortune on rare hero summon and not getting(or getting) the heroes you want, you'll find some desirable 4/5* units that you may want to keep to transcend your current 6* team. You might also want to invest more on fusing 3* units together for more chances of getting the ever so elusive 7k/4L units. This way, you'll come across the units you'll want to transcend more often and be able to upgrade your team faster. You either want to spend your rubies rolling for units or buying entries on daily dungeons to be able to specifically rank up units you'd want to transcend.

MON TUES WED THUR FRI
Earth LIGHT WATER DARK FIRE

Quick recap of ruby costs to get specific rank elements for trans, will be using ez DD for obv reasons:
200 rubies for 4* element
400 rubies for 5* element
600 rubies to trans a unit from 4* to 6*
3000 rubies total to get a unit from lvl 30 to 40 using only 4* fodder to trans
-100 ruby cost per 3* element you get from buying with CR points/find from adventure
-50 ruby cost per 2* element you find from adventure
